LAUREN V. ERICKSON, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND SECRETARY

Lauren V. Erickson joined Americans in Support of Law Enforcement (AISLE) as Executive Director after having spent over a decade working as a police officer in California. During her tenure in law enforcement she worked in nearly all aspects of police work and spent numerous years specializing as a sexual assaults investigator handling many high-profile cases.

In addition to her law enforcement career, Lauren has worked closely with police departments everywhere to facilitate the investigation of missing and exploited children throughout the United States. She holds a BS degree in Criminal Justice from San Jose State University.

SCOTT G. STEWART, PRESIDENT 

Over the past 20 years, Scott envisioned, designed, and operated a variety of groups, teams, and organizations to achieve public policy objectives. From his previous role as Director of Membership and Operations for the Financial Services Roundtable to his current position as CEO of the Innovative Lending Platform Association, Scott develops and implements growth policy, focusing on technology policy and projects. Previously, Scott managed government and regulatory programs for a large energy company and served in a presidential administration.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Denver. 

PAUL B. MATTHEWS, VICE PRESIDENT AND TREASURER

Paul B. Matthews is the Finance Director for the Travis County (TX) Sheriff’s Office. He is a Texas-Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and a graduate of the MBA program at the University of Texas at Austin.  He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University at Bloomington.

Collectively, Paul has over 15 years of controller/accounting experience; 10 years of asset management experience; 6 years of fixed income and commodities research experience; and 4 years of public/private sector consulting experience.
