Scott G. Erickson, President and Executive Director


Scott G. Erickson is the Founder, President, and Executive Director of Americans in Support of Law Enforcement. Prior to founding AISLE, he spent nearly twenty years working as a police officer in California.

Scott has written extensively on law enforcement and homeland security issues and has been a featured guest on numerous discussion panels, television programs, and syndicated radio shows including Fox News, One America News Network, and the Dana Loesch Show. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Cincinnati.

Scott G. Stewart, Vice-President


Over the past 20 years, Scott envisioned, designed, and operated a variety of groups, teams, and organizations to achieve public policy objectives. From his current position as Director of Membership and Operations for the Financial Services Roundtable, Scott develops and implements growth policy, focusing on technology policy and projects. Before joining FSR, Scott managed government and regulatory programs for a large energy company and served in a presidential administration.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Denver. 

Paul B. Matthews, Secretary and Treasurer


Paul B. Matthews is the Finance Director for the Travis County (TX) Sheriff’s Office. He is a Texas-Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and a graduate of the MBA program at the University of Texas at Austin.  He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University at Bloomington.

Collectively, Paul has over 15 years of controller/accounting experience; 10 years of asset management experience; 6 years of fixed income and commodities research experience; and 4 years of public/private sector consulting experience.
