A police K9 wounded in an Arkansas shootout that left one deputy killed and another wounded is missing after she ran away from the scene. 

K9 Kina was shot by suspect Billy Jones after he barricaded himself in a home following a shootout with police officers.

The initial shootout left Sebastian County Sheriff's Deputy Bill Cooper dead and Hackett Chief of Police Darrell Spells injured.

K9 Kina was shot and wounded following the initial shootout when Jones allegedly opened fire on officers while barricaded in a home.

Kina ran away from the scene after being injured and has not been seen since.

Reports early Thursday indicated that Kina may have been spotted; however, the sighting has not been verified. Police continue to search for their missing K9 partner.
