Lest we forget, there are some in the NFL who have thought to honor the sacrifices of the law enforcement community in recent weeks...
The NFL has rejected the Dallas Cowboys' request to wear a decal on their helmets supporting the law enforcement community and the five Dallas police officers killed in an ambush attack on July 7.
The NFL had already rejected the Cowboys' request to use the decal during the regular season.
Now the NFL has also denied the team's request to use the decal during the pre-season.
The decal, which bears a five-point star and the inscription "Arm in Arm" was reportedly the idea of tight-end Jason Witten.
