An NYPD officer was shot and killed in an unprovoked attack early Wednesday in the Bronx. Officials are calling the killing an "assassination."
Officer Miosotis Familia, 48, was in full-uniform and seated in a police vehicle when the shooting occurred. The suspected, identified as Alexander Bond, allegedly walked up to Officer Familia's vehicle and fired a single shot through the passenger window.
