Milwaukee Patrol Car Struck by Gunfire

Two Milwaukee police officers are fortunate to have not been more seriously injured after a bullet struck the windshield of their patrol car on Friday.

The officers were seated in their patrol car at approx. 1:45 p.m., close to the District Seven Station, when a bullet crashed through their windshield.

Neither officer was struck by gunfire but one officer suffered minor injuries due to the shattered glass.

No suspects were located and it was unclear if the officers were the intended target of the bullet or if the gunfire was random.
