Florida Sheriff's Deputy Recovering After Tuesday Shooting

An Orange County, FL sheriff's deputy was shot and wounded while attempting to serve a warrant on Tuesday.

Sgt. Richard Stelter, 45, was shot multiple times while trying to serve an outstanding arrest warrant on Christopher Redding, 20.

Redding allegedly opened fire on officers and struck Stelter. Multiple other officers returned fire, killing Redding.

Sgt. Stelter was taken to a local hospital for treatment and released the following day.
