A group of Bay Area police officers made the news several months back after they spotted a young man walking 7 miles to work each day and collectively raised money to buy the needy teen a bicycle.

The Benicia, CA officers didn't stop there and instead set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money to allow 19-year old Jordan Duncan to purchase a car.

A total of $42,000 was raised for Duncan, more than enough for him to purchase a used Volkswagen and put the remainder in the bank.

Duncan is apparently going to pursue his goal of becoming a member of the California Highway Patrol.
