A Michigan man allegedly threw a drink in an officer's face and attempted to disarm him on Monday, authorities said.
The incident unfolded at a Chesterfield Township Panera Bread when a Chesterfield police officer responded to a call of a disorderly male who had become belligerent with employees.
When the officer arrived, the suspect, identified as 37-year old Matthew Timothy Warren, allegedly threw a drink in the officers face and charged him.
During the assault, Warren allegedly tried to disarm the officer.
Warren was eventually taken into custody and booked on multiple charges, including assault, resisting arrest, and attempting to disarm a police officer.
