During recent questioning by the Senate Judiciary Committee, acting ICE Director Thomas D. Homan revealed that a recent sweep to arrest criminal illegal aliens netted just .07% of the 950,062 individual with deportation orders currently in the United States, the Washington Examiner reported.

During the sweep around 680 criminal illegal aliens were apprehended.

Overall, ICE has approximately 1% of those individuals in custody, or 11,006 out of the 950,062, highlighting the steep difficulty in trying to remove the large numbers of criminal illegal aliens currently in the country.
