Boston police officers in the Roxbury neighborhood have had an unofficial "mascot" for the past three years - a stray calico cat that they named "SWAT Cat."

The cat apparently has been visiting their police station for several years; however, he recently went missing for a few months.

Officers decided to provide "SWAT Cat" with a more suitable home and built him a kitty condo complete with glass sliding-doors and a deck.

"SWAT cat" immediately moved into his new home and hopefully won't stray too far again.
