Charges against four individuals associated to the apparent kidnapping and torture of a special needs man were "imminent," according to the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

Three of the suspects hail from Chicago while a fourth is from Carpentersville.

The victim was located walking along the 3400 block of West Lexington, disoriented and wearing shorts in the cold weather. Concerned officers summoned medical attention for the man.

It was later discovered that he had been the victim of kidnapping and torture when his beating was placed on social media.

In the disturbing video, the perpetrators are seen hitting the man and yelling racial and political slurs toward white people and President-elect Donald Trump.

"F--- Donald Trump," and "F--- white people," can be heard in the video.

Although race was invoked in the video, authorities are uncertain that it played a role in the apparent kidnapping and torture, stating that it did not appear that the crime was racially or politically motivated.
