Speaker Ryan to Meet With Chiefs of Police to Discuss New Approaches to Policing

Several chiefs of police are slated to meet with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan today to discuss new approaches to police use of force decision making, de-escalation tactics, and more.

NOLA.com reported that the meeting will take place today between Speaker Ryan and New Orleans Police Superintendent Michael Harrison.

Additionally, chiefs of police from Vermont, Wisconsin, Arizona, and others will be in attendance.
