The website is reporting that the ACLU is demanding that police officers turn their body cameras off during the inaugural festivities of President-elect Donald Trump while at the same time encouraging protesters to film the police.

The ACLU is apparently concerned that lawful activity such as a peaceful protest should not be recorded by the police.

District of Columbia ACLU member Monica Hopkins-Maxwell said, "We are concerned what they will do with the data."

Local police don't seem too concerned as they stated that their policy is to only record police activity and not lawful, peaceful activity.
