The man suspected of gunning down an Orlando police officer earlier this month remains on the run as multiple law enforcement agencies continue to search for him.
Markeith Loyd, 41, is suspected of shooting and killing Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton after Clayton attempted to take him into custody related to the previous murder of Loyd's pregnant girlfriend.
The most recent search area centered on the Rosemont Country Club, an abandoned facility that law enforcement officers searched on Sunday.
Unfortunately, Loyd was not located there.
The search will continue until Loyd is located and taken into custody. Loyd is considered armed and dangerous and likely in possession of body armor.
