Authorities in Georgia are offering a $10,000 reward for information related to the shooting of a sheriff's deputy's home earlier this week.
Douglas County Sheriff Phil Miller said that the deputy and his family were not home at the time of the shooting. No one was hurt in the incident; however, police say six or seven rounds were fired.
Sheriff Miller said that the motivation for the shooting is unclear; however, he did not rule out the current anti-police hysteria gripping the nation.
"We don’t know what’s out there. Were very visible, so if someone wants to target law enforcement, they can," said Sheriff Miller.
