A loaded gun recovered at the scene of the police-involved shooting of Keith Scott in Charlotte, NC had Mr. Scott's fingerprints on it, according to a source close to the investigation.

The shooting prompted several days of protests and violent riots that resulted in the death of one protester at the hands of another.

The revelation that Mr. Scott's fingerprints, DNA, and blood were apparently located on a gun at the scene of the shooting would refute the claims of protesters that Mr. Scott was unarmed at the time of his death.
