A Pennsylvania officer is fortunate to have escaped injury after a bullet fired by a suspect pierced the officer's uniform but missed the officer's body.
The incident occurred Wednesday after officers knocked on a door in Penn Township. An occupant in the house, identified as Jody Martz, fired a gun through the wall, striking the officer in the portion of his uniform under his armpit.
Miraculously, the bullet did not strike the officer's body. Martz was later taken into custody and is facing charges of criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and others.
