Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Agent Shot and Killed During Undercover Operation

An agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was shot and killed Tuesday following an undercover operation in Jackson, Tenn. 

Special Agent De'Greaun Frazier, 35, was working with the Jackson-Madison County narcotics unit when he was shot while engaged in a controlled-buy operation. 

He was transported to a local hospital but died from his injuries.

The suspect, identified as 23-year old Brenden Burns, was taken into custody a short time later. 

Special Agent Frazier had been with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for over 10 years and leaves behind a wife and two children.
