Two Chicago Cops Injured After Suspect Hurls Firecracker Into Patrol Car


Two Chicago police officers were transported to a local hospital with injuries after someone threw a firecracker into their patrol car on Sunday afternoon.  

The incident occurred at around 4:20 p.m. when an unidentified suspect pulled their car alongside the officers' patrol car and threw the firecracker inside.  

The officers were taken to a local hospital and listed in good condition. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.  

The suspect or suspects have not yet been taken into custody.
