Citizens of Santa Cruz, CA were startled to find over a dozen signs around town stating, "Kill Cops, Not Trees."

The stenciled graffiti was located in high-traffic areas throughout the town; however, no suspects have been identified at this time.

Santa Cruz Councilwoman Richelle Noroyan said of the graffiti, "A threat to our community's police officers or any city staff person is an attack on all the residents in our city."

Authorities have vowed to locate the individual or individuals responsible for the anti-police messages.
