A North Carolina man is facing charges of attempted murder after he allegedly opened fire on police officers who were pumping gas at the time.

Ravon Rousseau, 24, is accused of firing 10-15 rounds at the officers in Winston-Salem on Thursday night. Several of the rounds struck the area very close to where the officers were standing; however, the officers themselves were not struck.

Rousseau was arrested in the area where the shots came from. Three guns and an unspecified amount of drugs were also located. Rousseau is also facing charges related to possession of drugs with intent to sell.
