Suspected Shooter in Custody After Two Louisiana Deputies Shot on Thursday Morning

A suspect is in custody after allegedly shooting two Louisiana deputies on Thursday. The suspect was arrested after an hours-long manhunt.

The incident unfolded on Thursday morning as two Ouachita Parish deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant. It was then that the deputies came under fire.

Deputy Tom Hargrove was struck in the neck, and Deputy Johnny Robinson in the leg.

Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

The alleged shooter, 26-year old Rickie Wade, Jr. fled on foot but was later apprehended by officers after an hours-long manhunt.

Two juveniles were also taken into custody and are being accused of trying to assist Wade in his escape.
