Mass. Officer Gunned Down on Traffic Stop, Manhunt Underway for Cop Killer

BREAKING NEWS: A police officer in Auburn, MA was gunned down on a traffic stop early Sunday morning and a manhunt is underway for his killer.

Officer Ronald Tarentino Jr., 42, was shot and killed at approximately 12:30 a.m. after conducting a vehicle stop. He was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.

Little information has yet been released about either the vehicle stop or the suspect. Officer Tarentino was married and had three children.
