Pittsburgh police officers don't seem inclined to work the upcoming Beyoncé concert at Heinz Field on May 31, the city's police union said, and any effort to force them to do so may result in the union filing an unfair labor practices complaint.

The union itself is not staking a position in the Beyoncé issue and they are not calling for a boycott.

Rather, the apparent lack of interest in working the upcoming concert seemed to be an organic movement from the officers themselves.

Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) President Robert Swartzwelder indicated that the unfair labor practices complaint would be due to the city forcing officers to work what is an otherwise voluntary job.
