No Officers Injured After Robbery Suspect Pulls Gun on Four Officers



Officer in Methuen, MA shot and wounded a suspect Thursday evening after the man called police to his house and then pulled a gun on them. 

Suspect James Dobbins called 911 to report that he had seen his face on the Methuen Police Department's facebook page and that he had been listed as a robbery suspect.

Officers agreed to go to his apartment and transfer him to police headquarters to be interviewed; however, when four officers arrived Dobbins allegedly pulled out a gun and ran toward them. 

All four officers discharged their weapons, striking Dobbins multiple times. He was transported to a Boston hospital for treatment and is under arrest.

No officers were injured.
