Man Pulls Gun on Brooklyn Cops Before Being Shot, Wounded, and Taken into Custody

A man shot and injured by the NYPD on Tuesday allegedly pulled a handgun on the officers as they were attempting to place the man's friend under arrest for an outstanding warrant.

Zaequan Footman, 23, was being held on $75,000 bail and has been charged with menacing a police officer.

The incident began after officers attempted to place Dontre Bradley, 20, into custody because of an outstanding warrant.
