The Philadelphia police officer who survived a January ambush by an ISIS-inspired radical experienced a memorable moment on Monday afternoon: he threw out the first pitch at the Phillies game and proposed to his girlfriend (now fiancée).

Officer Jesse Hartnett, 34, was shot multiple times by Edward Archer, 30, as the officer sat in his patrol car on January 7 in West Philadelphia.

Archer stated that he committed the crime on behalf of ISIS, the Islamist radical terror organization.
