UK Police Use Seized Gang Money to Buy Local Children an Easter Surprise

Police officers from the borough of Trafford in Manchester, England have decided to put to good use money seized from organized criminal gangs this Easter. They are using the proceeds to buy chocolate Easter eggs for children of the area whose lives have been affected by crime.

Police Superintendent Jim Liggett said, "Police in Trafford regularly seize cash and assets from organized crime groups who cause nothing but misery within our communities."

He continued, "This weekend, we have decided to use a small amount of this cash to bring happiness to young children within the community who have been affected by some form of criminality. I hope this small gesture will bring some happiness to the children and show the public that they remain at the heart of everything we do."

Great job by the Manchester, England police!
