In a somewhat bizarre story, police in Florida arrested a man on Friday who allegedly stole a $60,000 BMW after his earlier attempt to purchase the vehicle using his EBT card and a stolen credit card were rebuffed.

Nicholas Jackson, 36, was arrested and charged with grand theft auto when officers caught him with the vehicle after it had run out of fuel.

Jackson apparently did not have money to pay for gas.
