A North Carolina police officer is recovering after being shot by a peeping suspect that he had just arrested.
Durham police officer R.S. Turner was shot after suspect Danny McMillen, 44, reached for a gun from his waistband after Turner removed the man's handcuffs while beginning the booking process.
A struggle over the gun ensued and Turner was grazed by a bullet. McMillen was again subdued and taken into custody.
Officer Tuner was treated and released from the hospital.
