A Raleigh, NC police officer used sign language to coax a deaf 16-year old girl off of a bridge on Tuesday afternoon.
The officer’s father said it was a case of his son being, “in the right place to save the day.”
The girl was safety removed from the bridge and taken for an evaluation.
Only a small fraction of the nation’s police officers know sign language so this officer was truly at the right place at the right time.
