A couple of Good Samaritans assisted a police officer in apprehending a shooter at a Dallas area Walmart last week.

Dallas police officer Cassie Dotsy was in the parking lot of the Walmart writing a report when she heard gunshots coming from inside the store. As she approached the store entrance she saw the shooter, Marcus Booker, walking out with gun in hand.

"I saw the arrestee coming out, and he was shooting, and I knew this was going to be really bad," said Dotsy.

Fortunately, Booker complied with Officer Dotsy's commands to drop his weapon and as he was doing so two Good Samaritans rushed the suspect and tackled him, allowing Officer Dotsy to handcuff the man.

The incident allegedly began after Booker became upset over a cashier not giving him his money quick enough. Thanks to the actions of Officer Dotsy and some concerned citizens no one was injured in the incident.
