A Washington County (AR) Sheriff's Deputy shot and killed a suspect on Wednesday afternoon after the suspect apparently attacked the deputy with a knife.

The incident unfolded at a Fayetteville tire shop while the deputy was having a tire repaired.

The suspect, described as a white male, apparently pulled a knife from his bag and attacked the officer.

The unprovoked attack forced Corporal Brad Robinson to use his weapon to stop the suspect. Corporal Robinson suffered no injuries in the incident.
