Two Georgia Police Officers Shot and Wounded While Serving Search Warrant



Two police officers from Georgia were shot and wounded early Monday morning after serving a drug-related search warrant in Crawford County.

The officers, said to be from the town of Byron, were part of a multi-jurisdictional drug task force.

Officers returned fire and killed the suspected shooter.

The injured officers are expected to recover from their injuries.
