Several California police officers ran in Sunday's Dallas Marathon in full uniform to honor the memory of the officer's lost in July's Dallas ambush attack.

Around 20 police officers from the East Bay Area ran in their uniforms, complete with duty belts and gear, along with about 20 other friends and family.

One officer said of the solidarity surrounding the effort, "It's a reminder of the pain that the families are going through, that the police department is going through and that the nation is going through."
