A team of police officers, firefighters, and paramedics came to the aid of a Newark woman who went into labor at her apartment Thanksgiving morning.
The members of the Newark Police Emergency Response Unit and firefighters from Engine 6 helped deliver the baby girl before her mom and the newborn were taken to a local hospital.
The mother and baby are said to be doing well.
