A Riverhead woman was taken into custody on Saturday related to the Wednesday shooting of a plainclothes detective in Queens.

The detective was shot in the head with a pellet gun as he drove down Jamaica Ave on Wednesday afternoon. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrested Tiara Ferebee, 24, on Saturday and charged her with multiple crimes including attempted murder of a police officer, assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon, and others.

Ferebee was allegedly uncooperative with police and would not reveal a motivation behind the shooting.
