Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton used the “Black and Brown” forum in Iowa on Monday to express her concern for what she decried as “police violence” that “terrorizes communities.”

Her answer was in response to a moderator’s question concerning whether or not “white terrorism and extremism is as much a threat to some in this country as something like ISIS?”

Although Clinton used the question to pivot to a discussion on gun control she circled back and finally responded, “I think that when you have police violence that terrorizes communities, that doesn’t show the respect that you’re supposed to have from protecting people in your authority, that can feel also terrorizing,”
